When something happens,
decisions don’t wait.
Discoverability
Family members don’t know what
exists or where it is.
Most families aren’t missing care or intention. They’re missing a system. Documents exist, but nobody can find them. Nobody knows what to do first. The person who knew where everything was is gone.
Priority
Everything feels equally urgent.
No one knows what to do first.
Access
Accounts, utilities, and logins need to be maintained, if you can find them.
About Leo
In January 2025, my 21-year-old son Cameron died by suicide. In those first days I had dozens of urgent decisions to make when I could barely think straight, and I realized afterward that families are left on their own at exactly the wrong moment, without tools that match what they're actually facing.
I spent 25 years in marketing and brand-building at companies like Ancestry and Adobe. Leo is what I'm building now.
Built after loss. Designed for what comes next.
Mike Ward founded Leo after losing his son Cameron in January 2025.

The LeoKit is a 80-page guide, along with file folders and tabs to help you document what your family would need to step in and act. It is organized by priority, so the person who steps in knows where to start.
